Bleach03

3 Japanese Girls from Okinawa

Bleach03 (aka Bleach) are young and small, but they are an explosive and dynamic band. They weave influences from just about everywhere into their hard rock songs. It is difficult to clasify their music as just one genre. From song to song they weave bits of funk, traditional, celtic and metal into their thrashy sound.

Ask anyone who has seen them live and you will undoubtedly see a face light up w/ glee as they remember the moment those three diminutive women from Okinawa blew their minds. They'll be back in the US in May 2007 for a West Coast Tour with Lozen, so you won't just have to envy your friends.

S.F. Residents go to Amoeba Records and buy their smash hit self titled CD.

“As eclectic as japan can be, so are Bleach03. The influences are very broad and results in a bunch of songs which range from slow ballads to fast hard-hitting thrashy punk.”
– Mashnote

“The first track on Bleach03's self-titled album, which is translated (from Japanese) as "My Sweet Angel and I Considered The Aesthetics of the Black Pen." Having more than just a stunning title, the track is one of the single greatest hardcore tracks I have ever heard. It employs a fantastically inventive rhythmic assault, almost melodic singing, plenty of screaming, and despite all that, it's even catchy.” – Tiny Mix Tapes
